In terms of the problems of maintenance work of cutter suction dredger, the necessity of development of maintenance management system is proposed. Through maintenance period management, spare parts management, maintenance findings, defect tracking and statistic and analysis, the whole lifecycle management of hull, system, and equipment of cutter suction dredger can be realized. Applying this system can help standardizing the maintenance process, and thus improve the maintenance efficiency of cutter suction dredger.
