In order to improve the appearance and color design level of local ferries, the development status of ferry industry in East Asia region is researched, and the appearance and color characteristics of ferries in East Asia region are analyzed. The design rules are summarized to guide the appearance and color design of local ferries and to improve the identification and influence of domestic ferries.
